We have column-rule-edge-inset-start and row-rule-edge-inset-start but no rule-edge-inset-start.

Same pattern holds for rule-edge-inset-end, rule-interior-inset-start, and rule-interior-inset-end.

These are probably niche-application shorthands, but I think we should have them for consistency, since we have bidirectional shorthands for everything else, including rule-inset-start and rule-inset-end.
